Quick and easy Ground Beef Bulgogi (Korean Beef) – an insanely scrumptious dish is taken over the top served Poutine Style.
It’s amazing how serendipitous life can really be. About a month of so back, there was all this talk about poutine. I had no idea what it was and when I googled it, it just did not sound like something I would enjoy. Fries with a gravy poured on top. But then, it was a featured dish at the Food and Wine conference last July. It was there that I literally melted over this dish. It was absolutely fantastic. I had never even seen it at any restaurant in Norther California.
Here is where serendipity comes into play. I decided to get a manicure and a pedicure. A new Korean restaurant opened right next door. On the menu was Bulgogi Poutine. That’s it! I said. I am going home and making this dish myself. If bulgogi poutine was on any menu before I would not have ever noticed.
Every once in a while a bit of a french fry splurge is totally worth it. Oh, and using ground beef instead of trying to shave the meat is easier, quicker and taste a thousand time better.
