A local hot spot, 1313 Main Restaurant & Wine Bar, which is located in the heart of downtown Napa, California is one that is not to be missed.
1313 Main highlights California Cuisine, has an award-wining wine cellar and warm hospitality.
Executive Chef, Adam Ross, has worked in James Beard & Michelin Star awarded kitchens throughout Napa Valley, Hawaii and Colorado. Using 1313 Main’s own gardens and local farm, Chef Ross looks to showcase the freshness of California, all while keeping the depth of the restaurant’s cellar in mind.
The sleek, modern interior is underlined by an incredible focal wall of wines, featuring some of the restaurant’s award-winning collection of over 2000 label offerings.
The decadent Sunday Brunch menu featuring a three-course meal begins with a light spring salad, your choice of Duck Confit Hash, Chicken and Waffles, or Lobster Benedict. Then it’s finished off with an incredibly light and airy Ricotta Pancake.
Their out-of-this-world Bloody Mary Bar is served tableside, featuring their heirloom tomatoes grown in their garden. They add grilled jalapeño peppers to the tomato juice, then incorporate Meyer lemon juice, Worcestershire, Cholula and Tabasco sauces; an array of dry spices: Old Bay Spice, Coleman’s Mustard Powder, salt and ground black pepper; and to finish, mix it with house-infused ancho chile Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Check out this list of additional garnishes:
Black lava salt from Moloka’i in Hawaii, Sriracha salt, black truffle salt, Blue cheese stuffed olives, caper berries, Fresh grated horseradish, Fresh grated egg yolk cured in salt, Candied jalapenos, house-made pickles, kimchi Brussels sprouts, Fried oysters, fried shrimp cocktail, Caprese spears, Puffed beef chips, bacon-wrapped dates, duck pastrami made from local Sonoma duck, beef jerky, thick-cut candied bacon, Infused tequila floaters: cilantro-Jalapeño infused tequila, smoked lime-tamarind infused tequila
Beware: Order your Bloody Mary as soon as you are seated. Because they make their own tomato juice, it’s made in small batches. It’s a popular item and sells out rather quickly.
The restaurant is open Tuesday – Thursday from 4:00 pm–10:00 pm; Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm-12:00 am; and Sunday from 10:00 am-2:00 pm & 4:00 pm-10:00 pm (Closed Mondays).
