A Bourbon Peach Smash is the perfect cocktail to transition from Summer and a way to welcome Fall.
- 2 drunken peach slices
- 3 or 4 fresh mint leaves
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 ounce water
- ½ ounce drunken peach syrup or simple syrup
- 2 ounces bourbon
- ice
- garnish: 1 sprig mint a peach slice or a lemon slice
- Muddle all ingredients except bourbon in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and bourbon.
- Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of mint.
Holy peaches batman. After making six jars of drunken peaches, I was ready for a cocktail. But darn it. I had to wait long enough for these drunken peaches to soak up the bourbon.

Oh my goodness. Fall is truly upon us. But luckily for me, I canned some peaches that are soaking in bourbon.
There is nothing better than coming home and watching the sun set with the last few rays of the day while sipping on this delicious Bourbon Peach Smash.
